Dean Watts' 356 GS/GT Carrera

This car belongs to Dean watts of Carson City, Nevada. Harvey Smith originally owned the GT. 10th street stored the GT for Harvey when he moved to Washington. Harvey hoped to restore the GT one day. He had researched the race history of the GT and found out that the GT had a great history.

The time came for him to decide to sell the GT or keep it, he has a couple of projects in the works already so he decided to sell the GT. He struck up a deal with Dean. Dean left the GT in our care to do the restoration for him. He wants the GT to be all metal finished and painted to the original color scheme that it was raced in. We have been working on the outer body, 75% of it is in epoxy prime.

The new pans, longitudes, and rockers were installed. Other race rash on the bottom was repaired. The underside had no rust, but was beat up from years of racing. The GT’s did not receive any undercoating and were left smooth and painted black from the factory.
